Circle and SAP-backed Tereina announced a partnership on October 7 to incorporate USDC and EURC into Tereina’s enterprise payment infrastructure, starting with SAP Cloud ERP. The plan is aimed at allowing finance teams to send and receive stablecoin payments without moving to a separate cryptocurrency application.
The companies are focusing on the operational work around payments, not only the transfer. Approval, reconciliation, supplier information and accounting records can be more expensive to change than the payment itself, according to the rationale outlined in the announcement.
How the integration is meant to work
Circle supplies the digital currencies, while Tereina is building the integration into established business systems. The partners say the approach can combine traditional financial workflows with blockchain settlement.
The announcement describes a plan and product integration effort. It is not evidence that all SAP customers have activated stablecoin transfers.

For investors tracking USDC’s commercial footprint, the announcement points to repeat business usage as the more meaningful measure than headline potential reach.
