Coinbase has added Collector Crypt's CARDS token to its asset listing roadmap, the exchange's assets division announced on November 3, 2026. The token, known by its ticker $CARDS, briefly jumped more than 21% on the news before giving back most of the move to close with a gain of 4.4%.
Trading Not Yet Live
Coinbase said trading will not begin until market-making support and technical infrastructure are ready. A future announcement will specify when trading will start. Until then, the roadmap entry signals intent rather than an active market.
About Collector Crypt
Collector Crypt operates at the intersection of physical trading cards and blockchain. The platform tokenizes graded trading cards into NFTs on Solana that can be redeemed for the physical card. The CARDS token is a Solana-based SPL token that supports Gacha liquidity and other functions on the platform.
Gacha is a pack-opening mechanic where users pay for a mystery pull and discover the contents afterward. Collector Crypt generates most of its revenue from its high-turnover Gacha and pack-opening system, supplemented by a lower-fee marketplace.
Platform Metrics
In Q3 2026, Collector Crypt recorded $433.5 million in pack openings and $25.4 million in gross profit, both all-time highs for the company. The platform also surpassed $1 billion in cumulative volume by August 2026.
CARDS launched through Metaplex channels in August 2025. Since then, it has been listed on several centralized exchanges, including OKX. A Coinbase listing would not be its first major venue but would be one of the most visible, particularly for US-based traders.
What to Watch
The immediate question for CARDS holders is timing. Coinbase has tied trading to market-making and infrastructure readiness without providing a date. The next milestone is Coinbase's follow-up notice on trading. After that, Q4 2026 figures will show whether the record Q3 performance was a peak or a new baseline.
Risks include dependence on sustained user appetite for mystery pulls and the health of the graded trading card market, which operates outside the blockchain.
