Orbs has taken a strategic stake in CRYMBO, a platform that provides licensed financial institutions with the infrastructure to launch regulated digital asset services through a single integration.
The investment connects Orbs' decentralized trading and execution technology with CRYMBO's suite of services, which covers compliance, identity verification, custody, payments, and financial operations. CRYMBO's network currently integrates more than 75 providers, allowing banks, brokers, and payment companies to select and coordinate services while operating under their own brands and licenses.
According to the companies, CRYMBO has processed over $2 billion in transaction volume and operates with licensed institutions. Its infrastructure holds ISO 27001 certification and is built to comply with regulatory standards such as the Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) framework and the FATF Travel Rule.
Orbs stated that the investment complements its current focus on decentralized trading and execution by supporting the compliance and operational systems necessary for institutional participation in on-chain markets. Orbs operates a layer 3 network offering decentralized spot and perpetual futures trading services, including dSPOT and dPERPS, and reports having processed over $14 billion in volume.
CRYMBO founder Eyal Daskal noted that the investment will support the platform's ongoing growth and assist in reaching additional institutional customers as financial services continue to move on-chain.
