Market Overview
Bitcoin broke above $87,000 before retreating below $84,000 during the week. Citi raised its 12-month Bitcoin price target to $113,000. Solana ETF inflows slowed to $2.4 million for the week as altcoin rotation remained uneven, with some mid-cap tokens outperforming larger assets.
Weekly Gainers
Midnight (NIGHT)
The privacy-focused blockchain token led weekly gainers with an 85% rally, achieving a fifth consecutive week of gains. NIGHT reached price levels last seen in late Q1, near the $0.05 mark. The token's RSI indicator remained below overbought levels, suggesting room for further upside if buying pressure persists. Resistance at $0.05 could determine the next phase of movement.
Quant (QNT)
QNT gained 50% to claim second place among weekly gainers. However, the token's RSI penetrated deeply into overbought territory following a 360% rally the previous week. The altcoin consolidated around $260, with profit-taking likely. Bulls must defend this level to prevent a sharper correction, while holding could support a move toward $300.
Pump.fun (PUMP)
The memecoin launchpad token posted a 25% gain this week, returning to pre-October crash levels at $0.06. Unlike QNT's overbought conditions, PUMP's RSI remained below overbought thresholds despite three consecutive weeks of gains, suggesting steady rather than aggressive accumulation. A breakout above $0.06 could trigger movement toward $0.08.
Other Notable Gainers
Agoras: Tau Net (AGRS) posted the strongest performance with a 278% gain. Dolphin (POD) increased 163% and Hookr.fun (HOOKR) rose 113%.
Weekly Losers
Lighter (LIT)
The decentralized perpetuals exchange posted the week's steepest decline at 20%. LIT fell from a recent all-time peak above $5 to the early-August zone near $3.50, where it last consolidated. RSI remained distant from the neutral point, leaving room for further downside if selling pressure continues. Bears breaking below the $3.50 psychological level could accelerate losses, though bulls defending this support could set up another advance.
Zcash (ZEC)
The privacy-focused blockchain declined 16.7%, becoming the second-largest weekly loser. ZEC retained most of its monthly gains and its RSI remained non-extreme, keeping the broader recovery structure intact. Similar price patterns in early September preceded two consecutive weeks of gains and a nearly 50% rally, suggesting recovery potential.
Dash (DASH)
The privacy cryptocurrency fell 12%, the third-largest weekly decline. DASH consolidated within a tight $55 to $60 range for more than a month. RSI cooling suggested room for a bullish trend resumption. A successful defense of the $55 level could lead to a breakout above $60 and movement toward early-Q1 levels.
Other Notable Losers
Anonymous Cat (ZCAT) led broader market declines with a 58% drop. Artificial Inu (AI) fell 55% and Bedrock (BR) slipped 52% as momentum cooled sharply.
