Cryptocurrency markets experienced significant volatility this week as Bitcoin reclaimed $80,000 and Ethereum and Solana rallied alongside renewed risk appetite. Altcoins outperformed late in the week, with several tokens posting triple-digit gains as momentum shifted toward higher-beta assets.
Weekly Winners
Akedo [AKE], an AI platform, emerged as the biggest weekly winner with a 400% rally. The token reached price discovery levels around $0.08, with three consecutive green candles on the daily chart pointing to fresh buying interest. The $0.10 level was identified as the next key resistance area to watch.
Arbitrum [ARB], an Ethereum Layer-2 network, posted the second-largest weekly gain at 60%. The price returned to its early-Q1 range, with bears already in profit. ARB reclaimed the $0.20 resistance level for the first time since early January.
NEAR Protocol [NEAR], a Layer-1 blockchain, rocketed 55% for the week and re-tested Q1 levels after crossing the critical $3 threshold. Daily charts showed selling pressure, with the price declining more than 6% due to profit-taking from short-term holders.
Other notable gainers included BLORB with a 5,615% gain, Harmony [ONE] with a 536% surge, and Bedrock [BR] jumping 337%.
Weekly Losers
Stable [STABLE], a USDT-native Layer-1 blockchain, posted the largest weekly loss at 16%, breaking below the crucial $0.025 support level and approaching early-Q1 lows. The next important support level was identified at $0.02.
Pi Network [PI], a mobile-based blockchain, declined 11.5% for the week, marking the second-largest loss. The price remained above $0.05 despite the rally failing to move above $0.10 in previous weeks.
Rain [RAIN], a crypto payments platform, posted a 2% correction as the third-largest weekly loser. The token was flirting with the $0.02 support level after recording a 29% correction the previous week.
Other significant losers included Hunter Biden's Laptop [LAPTOP] falling 65%, Lisk [LISK] shedding 50%, and AI Companions [AIC] declining 46%.
