CV Summit 2026, Switzerland's institutional Digital Assets and AI conference, will convene global and Swiss leaders in Zurich on September 29-30 to explore the institutional applications of digital assets and artificial intelligence. The event brings together executives from major international financial institutions and technology companies including Franklin Templeton, Ripple, Binance, BlackRock, Standard Chartered, and Deutsche Bank.
Switzerland's Digital Assets Leadership
Switzerland has established itself as a center for digital asset innovation. The country was the first jurisdiction to create a clear legal framework for digital assets, and 54 of Switzerland's 225 banks are now active in the sector. Crypto Valley, the region's blockchain hub, comprises close to 1,800 firms and accounts for 47% of Europe's blockchain funding, according to the CV VC Top 50 & Ecosystem Report.
Switzerland directs 63% of all venture capital to deep tech, the highest share of any country in the world on a per-capita basis, surpassing China at 56% and the United States at 54%, according to the Swiss Deep Tech Report 2026.
AI Hub and Global Recognition
Zurich hosts 7 of the world's 10 leading technology and AI companies, with 70% of the city's 185+ AI entities being Swiss-made. Switzerland ranks first globally in AI talent density according to the Stanford AI Index Report 2026. The country will host the official Geneva AI Summit in 2027, and CV Summit 2026 serves as an official event of the Road to Geneva programme.
Conference Structure and Topics
The summit unfolds across three stages—Anchor, Catalyst, and Deep Dive—with content organized around four core tracks: Financial Infrastructure; Tokenization of Capital Markets; AI and the Intelligent Economy; and Wealth and Asset Management.
Senior speakers representing international institutions include Christopher Perkins of Franklin Crypto, Cassie Craddock from Ripple, Catherine Chen of Binance, Dirk Klee from BlackRock, and representatives from Standard Chartered, Deutsche Bank, and Moody's.
