Datavault AI Appoints New CEO, CFO and Board Chair Ahead of Q3 Earnings

Datavault AI Inc. (DVLT) shares rose 16.22% to $0.0688, gaining $0.0096, after the company announced a major leadership overhaul. The appointments, disclosed on November 6, take effect immediately and follow the removal of former CEO Nathaniel Bradley ahead of the company's third-quarter 2026 earnings report.

New CEO and Executive Appointments

Brett Moyer was appointed Chief Executive Officer and President after Nathaniel Bradley was removed on November 1, 2026. Bradley will retain his position on the company's Board of Directors despite leaving the executive leadership role. The company also confirmed that former executive Sonia Choi no longer represents Datavault or holds authority to act for it.

Moyer previously served as Datavault's Chief Financial Officer and held the Board Chair position until November 6. Before joining the company's current leadership structure, he led WiSA Technologies as CEO from August 2010 through December 2024. His earlier executive experience includes leadership positions at Focus Enhancements and Zenith Electronics.

Teri Gallo was appointed Chief Operating Officer to oversee business operations and commercial execution. Gallo brings three decades of experience in digital marketplaces, advertising technology, and business development. She previously held senior positions at Interpublic Group, OpenX, and AOL while leading NYIAX since 2024.

CFO and Board Leadership Changes

Stanley Mbugua was promoted to Chief Financial Officer, replacing Moyer following his appointment as CEO. Mbugua previously served as Vice President of Finance and Chief Accounting Officer at the company. His financial management experience spans several public technology businesses, including Presto Automation, Skillz, and Rimini Street.

Kimberly Briskey was appointed Board Chair after previously leading its Audit Committee. Briskey joined Datavault's board in June 2024 and has more than 15 years of financial leadership experience. Her previous positions include senior finance roles at Lemonaid SPV, Eddie Bauer, and other consumer businesses.

Sri Peruvemba became Vice Chair, bringing more than 35 years of technology industry experience. Christopher R. Hardt assumed leadership of the Audit Committee, replacing Briskey in that oversight position. Hardt previously served as a PwC partner and brings expertise in financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance.

These changes form part of a broader effort to improve financial oversight and operational accountability. Meanwhile, Datavault continues developing technologies that support data valuation, digital asset tokenization, and commercial licensing.

Q3 Earnings and Strategic Focus

Datavault plans to publish its third-quarter 2026 financial results and provide an update on business operations. However, the company has not announced an earnings release date or confirmed arrangements for an accompanying conference call. The upcoming report will provide additional financial information following the executive appointments.

The new leadership team will focus on improving accountability, strengthening operations, and reviewing the company's strategic priorities. Additionally, the board plans to assess the organizational structure and direct resources toward selected commercial opportunities. These measures follow Datavault's efforts to expand its business across data technology and digital asset markets.

Datavault develops technologies that help organizations verify, value, and tokenize data and real-world assets. Its business also includes media, acoustic technology, live-event services, and intellectual property licensing. The upcoming earnings announcement will provide the next scheduled financial update as the company operates under its revised leadership structure.
