Enso has integrated xStocks with Arbitrum, allowing wallets, fintechs and trading platforms to add tokenized equity access without developing their own execution infrastructure.
xStocks are now available through the Enso API, and eligible users can trade tokenized equities directly through the Enso RWA App. The integration leverages Enso's existing infrastructure for swaps, cross-chain routing and DeFi actions, enabling applications already connected to the platform to add xStocks on Arbitrum through the same connection.
Distribution Gap Addressed
According to Enso co-founder and CEO Connor Howe, while tokenization has solved the supply side of real-world assets, distribution has remained a challenge. "What's been missing is distribution, the liquidity, routing and execution to get those assets into the wallets and apps where people actually transact," Howe said. The integration removes the need for developers to build separate routing or aggregation systems for tokenized assets.
Peter Haymond, head of DeFi partnerships at Arbitrum, commented that the integration enables composability within the Arbitrum ecosystem. "Any wallet, fintech or trading platform in our ecosystem gets tokenized equity access without building that infrastructure themselves," Haymond stated.
Background and Funding
Founded in 2021, Enso has built an execution layer for onchain finance that allows applications, protocols and institutions to access liquidity and execute multi-step transactions through one API. The company has raised approximately $14.2 million from investors including Polychain Capital, Multicoin Capital, Spartan Group, IDEO CoLab Ventures and Hypersphere.
The Arbitrum launch extends Enso's existing real-world asset business, which includes tokenized stock and metals execution through ether.fi Cash, an approved minting role for Ondo Finance and infrastructure supporting Anchorage Digital's Porto institutional terminal.
