Ethereum ETFs Draw $189 Million in Biggest Single-Day Haul in 10 Months

US-listed Ethereum exchange-traded funds saw $189.15 million in inflows on August 19, marking their largest single-day intake since October 28, 2025. The inflow arrived amid a market-wide rally that lifted several major cryptocurrency exchange-traded products.

The strong single-day result represents a shift for a product line that faced difficulties during the first half of 2026. According to SoSoValue data, Ethereum funds experienced outflows of $540.88 million in May and $528.99 million in June. However, August has brought a notable turnaround, with the funds collecting $534.2 million so far during the month to achieve their strongest monthly total of the year. Combined net assets subsequently reached $12.06 billion, marking the highest level since May 21.

BlackRock’s ETHA led the session with $122.12 million in inflows, representing roughly 65% of the total. Fidelity’s FETH followed with $36.54 million, and Grayscale’s mini trust added $16.04 million. Capital distribution remained narrow, as these three funds accounted for 92% of the intake, while four of the 11 listed products recorded no flows.

The broader market also saw significant price movement. Ethereum traded at $2,250, reflecting a 16.3% increase over 24 hours. The market movement was triggered by external economic factors, including the US Treasury doubling long-end debt buybacks to at least $4 billion, which led to falling yields and a softer dollar that encouraged traders to re-enter risk assets.

Other cryptocurrency funds similarly participated in the rebound. Bitcoin ETFs pulled in $517.19 million—their largest daily inflow since May 4—driving net assets up 6.3% to $84.31 billion as Bitcoin traded at $69,648 following an 8.8% daily gain. Smaller products saw modest capital additions, with Solana funds adding $2.10 million and XRP funds bringing in $2.35 million despite double-digit price gains for both assets.

Conversely, Hyperliquid funds moved against the broader trend by logging a $1.97 million outflow, even as the HYPE token jumped 23.7% to $71.93 after President Donald Trump signaled a US pathway for the exchange.
