US spot Ethereum ETFs recorded their worst week since late January, with investors withdrawing $542.1 million during the trading week ending October 9, 2026. The outflow represents the largest weekly exodus in more than eight months.
BlackRock's iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) dominated the redemptions, accounting for approximately $477 million of the weekly total, or roughly 88% of all withdrawals in the category. Grayscale's ETHE saw $31.9 million in redemptions over the same period.
The latest week extends a broader losing streak. Ethereum ETFs have now logged nine consecutive trading days of outflows beginning September 29, during which total redemptions reached $697.2 million.
Ether's price declined more than 7% over the week, settling near $2,491 on October 10. The move pushed ETH below both its 50-day simple moving average and the $2,500 threshold. Trading volume fell 61% to $7.2 billion.
The outflows were not limited to Ethereum products. Bitcoin ETFs saw approximately $681 million in outflows around the same period. Spot Solana ETFs recorded their first outflows since launch, ending a 14-week inflow streak.
Despite recent redemptions, cumulative net inflows into US spot Ethereum ETFs stood at approximately $13.26 billion as of October 9, 2026, with total net assets across the funds estimated at $15.71 billion.
