Ethereum traded at $2,409 on October 20, 2026, down 0.68% over 24 hours with a market capitalization of $294 billion, according to CoinMarketCap figures cited in a press release. US spot ETH funds lost about $320 million in the week to October 16, a third consecutive weekly outflow.
The largest holder continued to add to its position. BitMine bought 12,535 ETH last week, lifting its holdings to roughly 4.9% of supply, and described the pullback as a buying opportunity, per CoinMarketCap on October 19. A full return to Ethereum's August 2025 record of $4,953 would represent a gain of about 106% from the current price.
XRP trades above 200-day average
XRP changed hands at $1.32 on October 20, 2026, up 2.4% in 24 hours with a market cap of $83.86 billion, following a weekly decline of more than 6%. The token sits just above its 200-day average near $1.28, with the 21-day average at $1.42 acting as a ceiling, according to CoinCodex on October 20.
Evernorth, which holds about 473 million XRP, said it has something special planned for Ripple Swell from October 27 to 29, The Crypto Basic reported on October 20. The $3.84 record from January 2018 remains the first target in most XRP price prediction models.
Firo at low end of daily range
Firo (FIRO) traded near $0.89 on October 20, 2026, down 4.15% in 24 hours with a market cap close to $17 million. It sits at the bottom of its $0.89 to $0.94 daily range, as small caps remain under pressure with Bitcoin's share of the market above 60% for the first time since May, CoinMarketCap reported on October 19. Its $169.99 record from December 2017 remains far above current levels.
Presale project markets live trading tools
The press release also promotes Pepeto, an Ethereum-based project, which it says offers fee-free swaps on PepetoSwap, market, limit and DCA orders with MEV protection enabled by default, cross-chain transfers between Ethereum, BNB Chain, Solana, Base and Arbitrum in about 41 seconds without a bridge fee, and a token scanner running 42 detectors plus a simulated buy and sell that produces a 0 to 100 score.
According to the release, the exchange has been tested on $50 million of daily volume, and Pepeto offers staking at 160% APY with rewards claimable at listing. The token is priced at $0.0000001902 in its current stage, and the release states that a Binance listing is approaching and that the holder count has passed 43,000.
The release argues that the market caps of XRP and Ethereum limit the returns available to small buyers, while lower-cap presale tokens may offer more room.
