Ethereum has experienced a significant recovery, climbing from below $1,900 to surpass $2,520 before pulling back slightly. The asset outperformed Bitcoin during the rebound, rising 31.3% from its trough to peak, driven by renewed crypto ETF demand and a weaker dollar supported by U.S. Treasury bond buybacks. U.S. spot ether ETFs recorded $697 million in weekly inflows, the strongest figures since early October 2025, pushing ETH back above its 200-day moving average.
According to technical analysis, the April high near $2,464 serves as a crucial breakout zone. If Ethereum maintains support above this level, analysts point to upside targets around 2,775 to 2,825, followed by 3,040 to 3,070. As institutional products and established liquidity drive Ethereum's market valuation, some retail traders are concurrently examining earlier-stage tokens ahead of public exchange listings.
One such project, AlphaPepe, is currently in Stage 20 of its presale at a price of $0.02789, having raised $2.49 million with over 11,100 holders. Unlike established assets, ALPE has not yet entered public price discovery on open markets. The project's AlphaSwap Early Access is already operational on Ethereum and BNB Chain, featuring router-based swaps, token imports, and AI functionalities.
Attention has turned to upcoming calendar dates for the project. On August 26, AlphaPepe is scheduled to reveal its full roadmap, including the precise timelines for the presale closure and subsequent decentralized and centralized exchange (DEX/CEX) launches. An additional announcement is set for August 31 regarding a fourth CEX partnership, following three previously secured exchange agreements. Additionally, a temporary bonus drop offering between 10% and 200% extra ALPE on qualifying purchases remains active for 48 hours.
