FET Price Falls After SingularityNET Bridge Exploit Halts Conversions

Artificial Superintelligence Alliance token FET declined 1.53% over 24 hours to trade near $0.1773 following reports of a bridge exploit linked to the FET migration system. The reported attack targeted SingularityNET contracts, primarily the bridge connecting Ethereum and Cardano.

Fetch.ai stated its own contracts were not affected by the incident and continued operating normally across its network. The Artificial Superintelligence Alliance reported an unauthorized withdrawal of approximately $1.56 million in FET from the converter connected to the migration system. Treasury and exchange wallets were not affected, and FET held in private wallets or exchanges remained unaffected.

Conversion Services Paused Pending Review

Fetch.ai paused AGIX-to-FET conversions while investigators reviewed the affected bridge infrastructure. The company also paused its Ethereum-side bridge contract as a precaution, though it indicated no evidence suggested this contract contained the exploited weakness. Normal FET trading remained available.

Both services are expected to resume following additional security checks. The company said the exploit had been contained while the investigation remained active. Fetch.ai is working with the SingularityNET team and external security partners on the matter.

Technical Review Underway

The teams have not yet published a full technical report on the breach. Further verified updates are expected after investigators complete their review. The exploit involved migration infrastructure used by members of the Artificial Superintelligence Alliance, which combines AGIX and OCEAN into FET under a shared token framework.

The pause affects AGIX-to-FET conversions rather than normal FET network operations. No action was required from token holders at the time of announcement.

Price Support Levels

FET remained under selling pressure following the security news. The token held near the 50% Fibonacci retracement at $0.1697, identified as an important short-term support area. Major resistance levels stood near $0.1905, with intermediate resistance near $0.1741 and $0.1795. Additional support sits near $0.1653 and $0.1604, with more significant structural support around $0.1512.
