French Bitcoin digital asset treasury Capital B has expanded its holdings with the acquisition of 376 BTC for €25.3 million ($29.4 million) on September 7. The purchase marks the firm's largest Bitcoin acquisition in approximately a year, following a previous acquisition of 551 BTC in September 2025.
The recent transaction was executed at an average price of roughly €67,182 per BTC. Prior to the purchase, Capital B's treasury held an average acquisition cost of €90,352 per BTC, which subsequently decreased to €87,878 per BTC. Overall, Capital B has spent €309.4 million to accumulate its total treasury.
To fund the accumulation of its holdings, the company raised €21 million from institutional investors, including strategic backers Adam Back and TOBAM.
With its total holdings now reaching 3,521 BTC valued at $275.64 million, Capital B has surpassed Sweden’s H100 Group in Bitcoin reserves. This placement positions Capital B around 25th among publicly traded companies holding Bitcoin. The firm remains behind Germany’s Bitcoin Group SE, which holds approximately 3,605 BTC.
At press time, Bitcoin was trading at $78,469.40 following a 1.2% decline over a 24-hour period. Capital B's stock price was recorded at €4.89, marking a 5.82% drop in the latest trading day but a 496.34% increase for the year to date.
