Gate has released its latest Proof of Reserves report, showing that its total reserves increased to $8.215 billion as of August 19, 2026. The platform reported an overall reserve ratio of 127%, staying above the industry security benchmark of 100%.
According to the platform, reserve holdings for core assets experienced continued growth. BTC user holdings rose from 21,557 BTC to 22,436 BTC, while Gate's reserve holdings increased from 26,775 BTC to 27,550 BTC, reflecting an excess reserve ratio of 22.79%. For Ethereum, user holdings grew from 374,348 ETH to 375,429 ETH, and platform reserves rose from 456,798 ETH to 458,203 ETH, resulting in an excess reserve ratio of 22.05%.
Stablecoin user assets spanning USDT, USDC, USD1, and GUSD climbed from $1.336 billion to $1.578 billion, with corresponding platform reserves rising from $1.59 billion to $1.761 billion. This equates to an aggregate reserve ratio of 111.63% and an excess reserve ratio of 11.63%. Additionally, major assets such as GT and XRP maintained reserve ratios of 131.15% and 116.09%, respectively.
