Gate’s equity trading volume surpassed $90 billion in the four months since the crypto exchange launched its stock trading service, Gate Stock, in June 2026. Equities accounted for nearly 60% of Gate’s non-crypto trading volume during the period.
The figures show how a platform known for digital assets is drawing activity into traditional markets, with memory-chip stocks among the most heavily traded names.
Sandisk leads weekly activity
Sandisk posted a seven-day trading volume of $12.43 billion on Gate, the highest weekly figure recorded for any equity on the platform. South Korean memory chipmaker SK Hynix followed with $2.25 billion in weekly volume, while Micron, ticker MU, cleared $600 million in its strongest week.
SpaceX also drew attention after its IPO, generating more than $1.54 billion in volume on Gate shortly after listing.
Metals and ETFs add to non-crypto volume
Precious metals made up roughly 30% of Gate’s non-crypto trading volume, totaling more than $46 billion. ETFs and indices contributed another 7%.
The broader market backdrop was positive over roughly the same window: the S&P 500 rose approximately 17%, and the Nasdaq gained more than 26%.
Gate’s traditional-asset push
Gate Stock was not the exchange’s first move into traditional assets. Earlier in 2026, Gate’s weekly TradFi volumes peaked near $98 billion, and February monthly totals came in around $95 billion.
In its Q2 2026 report, Gate said its user base exceeded 58 million. It also highlighted coverage of more than 12,500 stocks and ETFs across the US, Hong Kong and Korean markets.
