Goldman Sachs, Jane Street Group, and Millennium Management emerged as the three largest reported holders of spot XRP ETFs in second-quarter 13F filings, according to Bloomberg Intelligence data released in late August.
Goldman Sachs held $87.4 million in ETF exposure, representing approximately 84 million XRP tokens. Jane Street followed with $16.6 million in exposure covering nearly 16 million tokens, while Millennium Management held about 15.5 million XRP valued at $16.2 million.
Institutional Investor Breakdown
Other significant holders included Intesa Sanpaolo with $14.4 million in exposure and Marex UK Holdings with $8.1 million. Across all identified holders, total XRP ETF exposure reached $183.5 million, representing approximately 176.4 million tokens.
Investment advisors dominated the institutional landscape, accounting for $120.9 million of the total exposure. Hedge fund managers held $25.1 million, brokerages held $17.9 million, and banks held $14.8 million in XRP ETF positions.
Growing ETF Demand
The institutional positioning reflects rising demand for spot XRP ETFs. The funds attracted $110.5 million during the week ending August 28, marking their strongest five-day inflow since early December 2025. Cumulative net inflows reached approximately $1.67 billion, with total net assets at roughly $1.45 billion.
While XRP ETF demand has accelerated, the token itself experienced price volatility during the same period, trading near $1.40 after reaching a multi-month high of $1.70 the prior week.
