Institutional Buyers Accumulate 1.4M Chainlink Tokens Amid Price Pullback

Institutional investors expanded their Chainlink holdings as major buyers absorbed available supply during a recent price pullback. Grayscale's GLNK ETF received 203,810 LINK tokens worth approximately $2.38 million from Coinbase Prime, continuing its accumulation trend. Over an 18-day period, the Grayscale ETF accumulated around 1.05 million LINK, valued at approximately $12.12 million.

Bitwise also participated in the buying activity, purchasing 163,664 LINK tokens worth roughly $1.91 million. The institution's total holdings reached 3.964 million LINK, with an average acquisition price of approximately $9.96.

Chainlink's strategic reserve contributed to the demand layer by acquiring 91,100 LINK tokens valued at roughly $1.06 million. This purchase increased the 30-day accumulation reserve to 511,000 LINK, worth approximately $5.52 million, bringing total reserve holdings to 5.86 million LINK worth nearly $67.24 million.

ETF activity reflected broader investor interest, with Chainlink ETFs attracting $4.27 million in investor capital during the latest session and $5.36 million in weekly inflows. The products held around 2.1% of LINK's total supply and recorded only two lifetime outflow days.

Large-holder activity reinforced institutional accumulation during LINK's recent price correction. According to CoinGlass analytics, Chainlink's Whale versus Retail Delta registered a positive reading around 0.36, indicating that whale activity remained elevated relative to retail participation. This positioning aligned with purchases from major institutions and Chainlink's reserve.

At the time of reporting, LINK stabilized around the $11.50 zone after retreating from its recent swing high near $13.70. The token remained above the $11 support level, though technical indicators showed weakening momentum. The RSI indicator retreated to 52.64 after previously reaching overbought conditions, while its average signal sat higher at 62.00.
