IPX Exchange announced the close of a $4 million seed round at a $125 million valuation, with Bitsurge Holdings leading the round alongside YICIPX Holdings Family Office and strategic investors.
Built on Base, IPX combines an agentic operating system for intellectual property with a tokenized launchpad and exchange. The platform enables creators to tokenize, advertise, monetize, and distribute their work through a single interface.
More than 100 celebrities, athletes, artists, and other rights holders have signed exclusive agreements to tokenize original IP on the platform. The initial slate includes Hollywood films and television series, athlete video games, and YouTube creator membership tokens at launch.
The platform's native token, $IPX, powers the operating system and exchange. Every project token on the platform is paired with $IPX. According to the company, revenue from platform fees, IP projects, sponsorships, subscriptions, and subsidiaries funds $IPX buybacks.
IPX integrates traditional financial infrastructure with blockchain rails, offering on- and off-ramps through globally available non-custodial virtual checking accounts. The platform requires project revenue to flow through the system via contractual obligations and terms.
Fans can buy, sell, trade, and stake IP tokens on the IPX Exchange. The platform is scheduled to launch on November 15, 2026, with the company planning weekly announcements leading up to the release.
