Japanese company Remixpoint has liquidated all of its altcoin holdings, leaving Bitcoin as its sole cryptocurrency asset. The September 1 sales generated ¥878.8 million (approximately $5.5 million) and produced a net gain of ¥117.8 million (roughly $737,000), according to a regulatory filing.
The company sold 901.45 Ethereum, 13,920 Solana, 1.19 million XRP, and 2.8 million Dogecoin. Ethereum generated the largest realized gain at ¥60.2 million, followed by Solana at ¥49.3 million and XRP at ¥11.5 million. Dogecoin produced a loss of ¥3.3 million.
Remixpoint's remaining crypto treasury consists of approximately 1,506.23 Bitcoin, valued at roughly $121 million as of early September. The company has added about 90 Bitcoin to its holdings during the year.
The company did not commit the proceeds from the altcoin sales to additional Bitcoin purchases. Instead, Remixpoint said the funds remain available for corporate priorities including expansion into grid-scale battery storage, balance sheet strengthening, and other shareholder value initiatives.
Prior to the September liquidation, Remixpoint had generated ¥29.9 million in staking rewards from Ethereum and Solana between July 2025 and August 31, 2026. Its Bitcoin holdings also produced 14.92 BTC in lending fees valued at approximately ¥164.2 million during the same period.
Remixpoint cited market conditions, the risk-return profile of each asset, and its broader financial strategy when deciding to concentrate its crypto exposure in Bitcoin. The company was among earlier Japanese listed firms to adopt a Bitcoin treasury strategy, following a model established domestically by Metaplanet.
