J.P. Morgan Asset Management is expanding its tokenized money market fund offerings to Solana, bringing two cash-management products to the blockchain network through its Morgan Money platform.
Qualified U.S. investors can now access the My OnChain Net Yield Fund (MONY) and the JPMorgan OnChain Liquidity–Token Money Market Fund (JLTXX) on Solana. Investors can subscribe and redeem through the institutional interface, with balances represented at blockchain addresses.
Fund Structures and Eligibility
The two products operate under different regulatory frameworks. MONY is a private placement offered under Rule 506(c) with eligibility restrictions for qualifying investors, while JLTXX is a U.S.-registered government money market fund designed to serve cash management needs, including those of stablecoin issuers.
Both represent fund interests rather than deposit balances. J.P. Morgan's disclosures clarify that the funds are not bank accounts or FDIC-insured deposits, and that products seeking a stable $1 share value can lose money.
Multi-Chain Distribution Strategy
The expansion to Solana reflects a broader institutional trend of operating tokenized assets across multiple blockchains. By making the same fund strategies available on different networks, J.P. Morgan enables clients to access liquidity management tools in the environments where they hold digital balances.
The addition represents a distribution and settlement expansion rather than the creation of new investment strategies. The Morgan Money platform remains central to the customer experience, providing eligibility screening, reporting, fund documents, and consistent subscription and redemption processes.
Verification and Risk Considerations
J.P. Morgan published Solana token addresses for both products. However, institutional investors should access the funds through the manager's verified onboarding channel rather than relying on token identifiers from other sources, as token impersonation and lookalike assets remain risks in on-chain markets.
