Kraken has completed the trading phase for 13 tokens, moving into a withdrawal period that extends through January 2027. Trading and deposits for the assets ended on October 23 at 14:00 UTC, according to the exchange's official notice.
The 13 tokens affected are BMB, ELX, APU, BDXN, DUCK, BOS, U, OBOL, IDEX, FIS, UXLINK, ALTHEA, and NOBODY.
Withdrawal Window and Liquidation Timeline
Customers retain the ability to withdraw their holdings until January 29, 2027 at 15:00 UTC. Kraken has scheduled a liquidation period for any remaining balances from February 1–12, 2027.
The exchange emphasizes that these represent distinct operational phases. The end of trading does not immediately prevent withdrawals, and the presence of a visible balance does not confirm trading eligibility.
Liquidation Risks
Kraken warns that liquidation of remaining balances carries significant uncertainty. The exchange noted that thin or inactive markets could result in proceeds substantially below recent quoted prices, potentially yielding negligible or zero recovery.
The notice does not offer a minimum sale price or guaranteed recovery percentage. Kraken stressed that a displayed reference price does not constitute a liquidation promise, as actual proceeds depend on available buyer demand at the time of execution.
Withdrawal Considerations
Users seeking to move tokens should verify that their destination platform supports both the specific token and its underlying network. A matching ticker symbol on another exchange does not guarantee compatibility, as tickers can be reused and assets can exist in multiple technical forms.
