Litecoin rose more than 8% over 24 hours to approximately $62 as buyers returned to the broader cryptocurrency market. The move carried LTC to its highest price since June.
The coin's 24-hour trading volume surged about 93% to over $520 million, indicating increased market participation. Litecoin's gains were part of a broader market recovery, with Bitcoin rising 5.7% above $85,000 and other major cryptocurrencies also climbing.
Resistance and support levels
Litecoin has extended its recovery from around $51.50 to $62, a gain of roughly 20% from its recent bottom. The daily chart shows the coin now trading above price levels that previously impeded its recovery and well clear of its recent average range of $50–$55.
The area between $63.80 and $65 represents the next critical resistance. A daily close above $65 could signal that buyers have maintained control and potentially open the door to a larger bounce.
If LTC fails to clear the $65 level, it may retreat toward $58–$60 while still remaining close to its recent gains. A deeper decline below that range would bring the $54–$55 price area into focus as a potential support zone where buyers may attempt to defend the recent breakout.
