One year in, MSU is entering its next phase with the introduction of MSU 2.0 — an expansion designed to transform how intellectual property, builders, and players interact within a shared digital environment. Supported by AI creation tools and expanded on-chain infrastructure, MSU 2.0 will roll out progressively throughout 2026 to 2027, with new features released incrementally for builders as development advances.
A Benchmark Launch That Set a New Standard
MSU’s May 2025 debut was one of the largest in Web3 gaming history. Before a single game went live, the pre-launch Scroll NFT campaign recorded approximately 1.7 million scrolls minted — officially the largest NFT mint in Avalanche network history. On launch day, MSU-related weekly active addresses on the Avalanche network surged by 549%, reflecting the scale of anticipation the franchise had built.
 
The momentum didn’t stop there. The marketplace has sustained strong performance since launch, averaging more than 446,716 buyers and sellers transacting daily. To date, MSU has accounted for 23.3% of total activity on the Avalanche network — a remarkable share for a single platform across one of the leading chains in the ecosystem.
At launch, MSU’s native NXPC token was listed on seven major exchanges simultaneously, including Binance, Bybit, Upbit, and Bithumb.

VIBE IP: The Technology Stack Powering MSU 2.0
At the core of MSU 2.0 is VIBE IP — a new technology stack built on two foundational pillars that redefine what it means to build with IP on-chain.
The first pillar transforms IP access. Builders gain access to gameplay and behavioral data from MapleStory N through dedicated APIs, turning IP from static brand assets into a living, data-rich foundation to create on — in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
The second pillar establishes an on-chain builder economy on the Henesys chain, which runs on Avalanche L1. It consolidates IP licensing, revenue settlement, and payments into a single, unified system — removing the friction that has historically made IP commercialization complex and slow.

Building on that momentum, MapleStory N is now more accessible to mainstream players than ever. Casual users can engage with the game like any traditional MMORPG, with blockchain complexity removed from the foreground.
