MEXC has officially launched Opportunity Compass, a global markets education initiative aimed at helping cryptocurrency-native users better understand traditional and crypto markets as the two asset classes become increasingly connected.
The program comes as a significant shift occurs in crypto user behavior. According to research from MEXC and CoinGecko, trading volumes for traditional financial assets on crypto exchanges reached $1.45 trillion in the first half of 2026, nearly 10 times the total recorded for all of 2025.
Knowledge Barriers Emerging as Access Expands
A user survey revealed that 53.7% of crypto users have already invested in stocks. However, knowledge gaps remain a significant obstacle: among users who have not invested in stocks, 43.1% cited insufficient investment knowledge as a barrier. Among those who previously used stock products but stopped, 48.3% attributed their departure to limited investment knowledge.
Among current stock investors, 44% said individual stock price movements influenced their participation, while 34% pointed to the artificial intelligence boom as a key driver.
Five-Season Education Program
Opportunity Compass features five seasons and 30 episodes designed to progressively build market understanding:
- Season 1: Understand the global financial market landscape and how different markets connect
- Season 2: Explore what gives stocks, gold, commodities, ETFs, Bitcoin and other assets value
- Season 3: Understand how interest rates, inflation, market cycles, earnings and industry trends shape markets
- Season 4: Explore tokenized assets, real-world assets, prediction markets and other emerging financial models
- Season 5: Build an independent framework for understanding markets and evaluating opportunities
The program brings together industry partners including xStocks by PAYWARD, Plume, Tether, Pyth, Optimism, CMT Digital and RootData. Content will roll out progressively from September through December 2026, with all material designated as educational only and not constituting financial or investment advice.
