NIP Group, an esports and digital infrastructure company, has signed an agreement to acquire Bitcoin mining equipment with approximately 4.47 exahash per second of computing power. The machines are already installed and operating at hosting sites, reducing the need for new facility construction.
The acquisition will be paid for through the issuance of up to 247,091,740 Class A ordinary shares. Share-based transactions preserve cash but can dilute existing investors' stakes.
If the deal closes as planned, NIP Group projects combined mining capacity of approximately 13.85 EH/s across its total acquisitions. Management estimates this capacity could generate around 195 Bitcoin per month at full deployment, though this represents a projection rather than a guaranteed yield.
Actual production will depend on factors including global network hash rate, mining difficulty, equipment uptime, power costs, and the company's share of block rewards.
NIP is positioning computing infrastructure as a bridge connecting digital entertainment, Bitcoin mining, and potential high-performance or artificial intelligence applications. While these markets share demand for electrical power and large installations, hardware requirements are not always interchangeable between use cases.
The announcement represents a signed purchase agreement subject to closing. Final economics, actual production volumes, and energy costs will determine whether the expansion strengthens the business.
