OpenLedger, a Layer-1 blockchain built specifically for AI workloads, is pivoting toward mainstream users with a two-year roadmap centered on no-code customization tools, privacy-preserving features, and agentic capabilities for crypto trading and payments. The initiative aims to make the platform accessible to non-technical users.
ModelFactory and Data Contribution
The core of the business-to-consumer (B2C) strategy is ModelFactory, a no-code dashboard that enables users to fine-tune large language models utilizing their own datasets, known as Datanets. The platform manages underlying technical complexities while providing user-friendly controls.
The system integrates on-chain rewards and provenance tracking to ensure contributors receive credit and compensation when their models or data are utilized. Privacy-preserving artificial intelligence is also integrated as a core feature rather than a secondary add-on.
Agentic Rollout Sequence
According to founder Ram Kumar, the rollout of agentic capabilities follows a deliberate sequence. Agentic payments are prioritized first due to their simplicity and immediate utility, whereas autonomous trading systems will follow later, reflecting higher stakes and the need for greater user trust.
Token Performance and Backing
The project's OPEN token traded between $0.15 and $0.16 in mid-August 2026, following its initial launch and exchange listings—including Binance—earlier in 2025. OpenLedger is backed by investors including Polychain Capital, Borderless Capital, and HashKey Capital. The network allows contributors of data, AI models, and agents to tokenize their contributions to incentivize ongoing ecosystem development.
