PancakeSwap unveiled its Pre-Access Portal on September 20, a new platform designed to give the PancakeSwap community early access to private entities before their public launches. Binance Wallet, which supports CAKE as part of the BNB Chain ecosystem, committed to providing technological infrastructure to connect users with early-stage opportunities.
Users participating in the pre-access program accumulate Alpha points based on on-chain trading volume and holdings, creating a unified point system for flexible on-chain investing experiences.
Market Response
CAKE responded positively to the announcement, reaching $2.60 for the first time since November 2025 before retracing slightly. At the time of reporting, PancakeSwap was trading around $2.50, up 9.4% on daily charts.
Trading activity showed strong buyer interest. Buy volume reached 6.2 million over the previous 24 hours, while the market delta remained positive for four consecutive days, indicating buyers have significantly outpaced sellers.
Staking Activity Increases
Staking in PancakeSwap also accelerated following the announcement. Total staked BNB jumped from 82,000 on September 20 to 86,000 at the time of reporting, reaching levels not seen since November 2025. The increase suggests investors anticipated growth from the new platform launch and sought yield on their holdings.
Historically, increased staking has reduced circulating supply and eased selling pressure on tokens.
Technical Outlook
Momentum indicators reflected bullish conditions at the time of analysis. The Stochastic Momentum Index stood at 55, entering bullish territory, while the positive Average Directional Index reached 33 compared to 8 on the negative index. These readings suggested strong upside momentum.
Based on technical conditions at the time, analysts identified $2.60 and $2.80 as near-term resistance levels for CAKE.
