Paybis, a Riga-based crypto infrastructure company, announced on August 31, 2026, a series of upgrades to its On/Off Ramp product, which allows partner businesses to embed crypto buying and selling directly into their own applications and websites.
New SDK and Payment Method
The company released a React Native SDK for the On/Off Ramp, designed to reduce integration time for mobile app developers to a matter of minutes. Separately, PayPal has been added as a payment option for end users in the United States, giving customers a checkout path that avoids entering card details.
Paybis also said it implemented loading-time improvements across the iOS, Android, and web versions of its On/Off Ramp interface.
Compliance and Travel Rule Updates
Following the rollout of Travel Rule requirements across the platform, Paybis is introducing a feature that lets partners supply additional information required for custodial wallets before the user journey begins. This shifts compliance checks to the integration layer rather than adding steps for end users during checkout.
The company said it is preparing further improvements for unhosted wallet flows, with the goal of making Travel Rule data capture seamless across different transaction types and wallet models.
Headless Integration Strategy
The updates align with Paybis' broader move toward headless integrations, an architecture in which partners retain ownership of the customer journey and brand experience while Paybis provides compliance and infrastructure underneath.
Julia Kovalchuk, Head of B2B Product at Paybis, said the company's focus is on making the On/Off Ramp easier for partners to integrate while continuing to raise compliance standards without compromising user experience. She added that Paybis aims to absorb regulatory complexity into its infrastructure so partners can scale with reduced friction.
Company Background
Paybis was established in 2014 and combines a crypto exchange and wallet supporting over 90 cryptocurrencies with business-to-business crypto-fiat infrastructure. The company processes more than $6 billion in annual transaction volume and reports a user base of 7 million. In 2026, Paybis was recognized as Best Crypto Payment Provider. The company employs approximately 200 people.
The newly announced features are rolling out to eligible partners and customers, with availability varying by market and integration type, the company said.
