Pi Network's Core Team has announced its first-ever Pi Ecosystem Summit, a three-day online event scheduled for November 17–19, 2026. The summit will differ from the project's existing Pi Day and Pi2Day celebrations by focusing specifically on developers, platform infrastructure, and ecosystem applications.
The event will feature new platform announcements, demonstrations of developer tools, showcases of partner and community applications, and direct conversations between developers and the Core Team. A notable component will be details about an upcoming Pi hackathon, with further information to be revealed during the summit.
Event Focus and Content
According to Pi Network's official announcement, the summit aims to highlight how developers use Pi's infrastructure and identify what additional tools or support they may need to build services for the Pioneer community. Developers and Pioneers will have access to resources for building on Pi and opportunities to discover existing apps and utilities across the ecosystem.
The summit represents an extension of Pi Network's increased focus on developer engagement throughout the year, building on momentum from previous milestone events. Pi Day introduced the Launchpad MVP, Mainnet-enabled Pi App studio functionality, and protocol groundwork. Pi2Day subsequently expanded the ecosystem through features including SoloHost, Pi Sign-in, and PiVerify.
Recent Developments
The summit arrives during a period of active development for the Core Team. Recent work has included protocol upgrades, addressing KYC and Mainnet migration processing, and exploring stablecoin utility through a partnership with Open Standard announced weeks prior. That collaboration could eventually include OUSD-related rewards and additional payment use cases, though the team emphasized that PI will remain the ecosystem's primary cryptocurrency.
