Pi Network released four new tools for app developers and businesses in preparation for its first Ecosystem Summit, scheduled for November 17-19. The updates come as the network prepares for what it describes as its biggest ecosystem push to date.
Four Platform Updates
The Developer Portal received a redesigned interface that consolidates settings including access keys, app wallets, and domains into a single location. The update aims to simplify app configuration and management for outside developers building applications using Pi's login and payment systems.
AI coding assistants including Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex can now integrate with SoloHost, Pi's service that allows users to host applications on their own computers through Pi Desktop.
Pi BlockExplorer, the network's public activity tracker, now displays historical price charts for testnet tokens such as SLICE. Pi Network stated these trial tokens will not reach its live network.
PiVerify, Pi's identity verification service for businesses, added duplicate-face detection and repeat live-person checks to prevent fraudulent accounts. According to Pi Network, business clients pay for the service using PI tokens.
Historical Price Performance
PI has declined approximately 13% over the current month and trades near $0.078, representing a 97% decline from its February 2025 peak of $2.99. Previous major product announcements have not sustained price gains. Following Pi's March 14 Pi Day release, the token fell roughly 33% within a week from approximately $0.27. After the June 28 Pi2Day event, it declined about 12% over eight days, according to CoinGecko data.
Ecosystem Summit and Open Questions
The upcoming summit will feature app demonstrations and a planned hackathon. Key details regarding Launchpad timing—Pi's token-launch platform—and PiVerify adoption levels remain undisclosed heading into the event. Pi Network has not released pricing information for PiVerify or disclosed the number of business clients using the service.
