Polygon's proof-of-stake chain generated over $1.3 million in network revenue over the past 30 days, according to recent data. Different measurement methodologies show varying figures, with DefiLlama reporting approximately $2.15 million over a rolling month, while Token Terminal recorded $1.7 million in August 2026 and $2.6 million in July.
The network processes roughly 5 to 6 million transactions daily. Year-to-date through early September 2026, Polygon PoS handled over 1.83 billion transactions, collectively generating approximately $24.7 million in fees. Daily chain revenue peaked near $98,000 in August 2026.
Deflationary Fee Model
A distinctive feature of Polygon's fee structure is that 100% of base transaction fees are burned, permanently removing POL tokens from circulation. This mechanism applies to all network activity, including stablecoin transfers, NFT minting, and DeFi protocol interactions.
With $24.7 million in fees generated year-to-date, the cumulative burn has a measurable impact on token supply. For POL holders, network growth generates validator revenue while simultaneously reducing the token's circulating supply.
Stablecoin Activity
Total stablecoin supply on Polygon has exceeded $3 billion, reflecting economic activity on the network. Stablecoins on the chain are used for remittances, payroll, cross-border settlements, and on-chain commerce.
Polygon Labs recently acquired Coinme and Sequence for a combined approximately $250 million. Coinme provides cryptocurrency ATM and cash-to-crypto infrastructure, while Sequence offers wallet and developer tooling focused on mainstream user experiences.
