Users of Predict Fun, a prediction market built for Binance’s BNB ecosystem, have lost roughly $260,000 in a draining incident that analysts warn may have more victims.
On Tuesday, crypto analyst “Dethective” said they had been drained for about $5,000 in an incident linked to Predict Fun. The funds were bridged to Ethereum and then sent to crypto mixer Tornado Cash, according to the analyst.
“I think there’s something wrong going on with Predict Fun and I am not the only victim,” Dethective said.
19 victims tracked
Shortly after, fellow crypto analyst “Naeven” tracked funds drained from 19 Predict Fun victims and estimated the total at 105 ETH, worth roughly $260,000.
Naeven said there are likely more victims and warned users to bridge any remaining funds out of Predict Fun.
Backed by CZ’s investment firm
Predict Fun was founded by former Binance staff and is a Polymarket-like prediction market catering to Binance’s BNB ecosystem. Binance founder Changpeng Zhao noted that the platform was incubated and invested in by YZI Labs, formerly known as Binance Labs.
DefiLlama records Predict Fun’s 2026 earnings as just over $9 million.
