The Pump Foundation currently holds nearly $2 billion in treasury assets, according to co-founder Noah Tweedale. Tweedale disclosed the figures during an interview with Crypto Insider published on August 8, 2026. He noted that the foundation does not hold SOL, instead keeping its treasury assets primarily in stablecoins and other assets.

The foundation operates independently from Baton Corporation, the UK-based entity that develops the pump.fun platform. Baton receives approximately $100 million annually to cover operating costs, technology, and development. The foundation's funds are derived primarily from its initial coin offering and ongoing platform revenue, while Baton manages the technical side of the business.

Platform Growth and Solana Activity

Since its launch in January 2024, pump.fun has generated over $1 billion in total revenue. The platform currently engages 13.5 million active wallets and drives roughly 40% of Solana's overall network activity. Originally launched as a basic meme coin launchpad, the platform has evolved into a mobile-first social trading environment.

The platform enables users to deposit funds and place trades directly from their mobile phones, removing technical barriers to entry. Pump.fun also supports cross-chain assets across the BNB, Ethereum, and Base networks, expanding its accessibility beyond Solana.

Future Expansion and Transparency

Tweedale addressed the team behind the platform, noting a young average age of 25 years old. He also acknowledged previous communication gaps with the community and investors, stating that the team intends to increase transparency and provide regular updates going forward.

Looking ahead, the development team is expanding its mobile application, web interface, and professional trading terminal. Planned additions include GoDo.fun, a bounty-based feature, and a boost mode designed for coin launches. Additionally, the team is considering a proprietary stablecoin that would allow traders to denominate trades in US dollars rather than SOL.
