Pump.fun has made Pump Bridge the default route for cross-chain trades in its app, replacing Relay, an update the platform says could reduce friction for users trading through Pump.fun. The token PUMP drew attention alongside the change.
Pump.fun claims that its bridge delivers buys twice as fast, with 92% fewer buy errors and better fills than Relay. Those figures come from a randomized test conducted within its app, according to the platform.
On-chain participation rises
Recent analysis shows greater participation around the network. The number of active addresses rose to new monthly levels over the past few days, including 89,000 in the last 24 hours. The number of PUMP holders also climbed to 462,000, pointing to broader distribution of PUMP ownership.
The increases suggest more wallets are interacting with the network and more users hold the token. If activity continues to expand after the initial reaction to the bridge announcement, it could help support market interest, according to the analysis.
What to watch
Pump Bridge gives Pump.fun a potential catalyst by improving the cross-chain trading experience. Rising active addresses and holder numbers could reinforce the positive response if they persist.
Traders and investors should watch whether recent price gains are accompanied by sustained demand, rather than fading enthusiasm around the announcement.
