Quant Surges 75% as Banking Partnership with The Clearing House Catalyzes Rally

Quant's QNT token surged 75% in the past 24 hours, trading above $180 during a period when most major cryptocurrencies remained relatively stable. The rally extends to a 185% weekly gain, marking one of the largest moves in the token's recent history.

A US banking partnership serves as the primary catalyst. On September 24, The Clearing House announced it selected Quant to provide the interoperability, orchestration, and transaction-management layer for its On-Chain Money Initiative. The system will enable financial institutions to clear and settle tokenized deposits while connecting with existing payment infrastructure, including the RTP and CHIPS networks.

The scope of the arrangement reflects the scale of The Clearing House's operations. The organization's US payment networks clear and settle more than $2 trillion daily across wire, ACH, check-image, and real-time payments. Both parties expect the system to launch to participating institutions in the first half of 2027.

On-chain activity suggests investor interest preceded the public announcement. According to Santiment Intelligence, active addresses exceeded 870 daily between September 16 and 23, compared to a maximum of 792 during the first half of the month. New addresses ran approximately 1.8 times their earlier September weekday average during this period. Following the announcement on September 24, active addresses reached 2,064, the highest level in nearly a year, with QNT climbing 27% that day.

Market participants offered cautionary perspectives on further upside. Some analysts noted that significant retracement and consolidation typically follow parabolic moves and suggested investors should focus on entry points during pullbacks rather than pursuing immediate purchases at elevated prices.
