Quant Token Surges Over 400% in September as Founder Wallet Moves $6.97M QNT

Quant's QNT token experienced a rapid repricing in September, climbing from approximately $60 in mid-September to an intraday high near $372 before settling around $300. The token gained more than 400% during September, making it among the strongest-performing large-cap crypto assets of the month.

Daily trading volume reached nearly $1 billion on September 30, compared with less than $100 million during the pre-rally period. QNT's market capitalization expanded to around $4.3 billion, with seven-day gains exceeding 300%.

Founder-Linked Wallet Activity

According to Lookonchain, a wallet linked to Quant's founder transferred 25,776 QNT worth approximately $6.97 million to newly created wallets after seven years without activity. The address retains 600,000 QNT, valued at approximately $160.39 million at the reported price, with the transfer representing about 4.3% of the wallet's remaining QNT balance.

Clearing House Partnership Drives Rally

The primary catalyst for Quant's surge was The Clearing House's selection of Quant to power its On-Chain Money Initiative. The U.S. payments operator selected Quant to provide the interoperability, orchestration, and transaction-management layer for a network designed to clear and settle tokenized deposit transactions between financial institutions.

The system will connect with existing payment infrastructure including RTP and CHIPS, with participating institutions expected to gain access during the first half of 2027. The Clearing House processes more than $2 trillion in payments daily and is owned by 25 of the largest U.S. financial institutions.

Price Levels and Resistance Zones

QNT's weekly chart shows the token breaking out of a multi-year consolidation structure. For much of 2022 through mid-2026, Quant price remained below the $200–$250 region. The September rally broke through that range and accelerated sharply.

The next major resistance sits between $360 and $400. A sustained weekly close above $430 would put the market into a significantly higher trading range, with $500 and $600 becoming the next psychological levels.

Key support and resistance zones include: $360–$400 as major resistance; $240–$260 as first major support; and $200–$220 as broader breakout support.
