Ripple has released the complete Swell 2026 agenda, bringing together financial institutions, cryptocurrency companies, and XRP developers for a conference focused on finance's institutional evolution. The event will run October 27-29 at The Shed in Manhattan.
The expanded conference combines Ripple's institutional Swell conference with its developer-focused Apex event for the first time. The official website lists more than 100 speakers, over 80 sessions, and three conference stages, with an expected audience exceeding 1,500 people.
Conference Focus Areas
The agenda covers liquidity and settlement, tokenization of real-world assets, bank-grade stablecoins, the first year of spot XRP exchange-traded funds, artificial intelligence systems for payments, post-quantum security, and the next phase of XRP Ledger development.
Traditional finance will feature prominently, with speakers representing BNY, Barclays, State Street, and Jump Trading. Crypto exchange Coinbase and Robinhood Markets will also participate. CME Group Chairman and CEO Terrence Duffy will represent established futures, options, and clearing markets.
XRP Ledger and Institutional Applications
Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse will appear alongside Ripple Chief Technology Officer Emeritus David Schwartz, who is scheduled to discuss what comes next for the XRP Ledger. The network is a public blockchain designed to process transactions and support issued assets, with XRP functioning as its native digital asset to facilitate liquidity, payments, and transaction fees.
Other confirmed speakers include CME Group Chairman and CEO Terrence Duffy, Bullish Chairman and CEO Tom Farley, and Water.org co-founder Matt Damon.
XRP ETF Market Activity
U.S. spot XRP ETFs had accumulated approximately $1.71 billion in net inflows as of September 18, while their combined net assets stood near $1.39 billion. The conference agenda will examine these products' first year, connecting market demand with custody, liquidity, and regulated access.
