Ripple's XRP has emerged as one of the top performers in the cryptocurrency market, surging by nearly 50% on a weekly scale and trading at approximately $1.50 with a market capitalization exceeding $93 billion. During the rally, the asset briefly flipped BNB to become the fourth-largest digital asset before returning to the fifth position.
The strong performance has sparked debate among analysts regarding the asset's near-term trajectory. Several commentators point to technical indicators and rising institutional interest to support a bullish outlook. An analyst known on X as CW noted that XRP has returned inside an ascending channel and highlighted a golden cross between the EMA lines of the RSI indicator, suggesting a bullish rally has started. Additionally, spot XRP ETFs have seen significant capital accumulation, marking their best week since May.
Other market observers maintain a more cautious stance following the recent gains. Analyst Diana observed that XRP's RSI has cooled from extreme overbought territory. According to the analysis, holding the $1.42 to $1.30 support range could pave the way for a move toward $1.70, whereas losing the $1.42 level could trigger a pullback below $1.30. Analyst ChartNerd also suggested a potential correction could occur, viewing it as a final opportunity before further movement.
Looking at longer-term projections, analysts Celal Kucuker and Cup pointed to macro structures reminiscent of past market cycles, with forecasts ranging toward $6 and a potential ascent to $15.
