Robinhood Chain, the company's Arbitrum-based Layer 2 blockchain launched on July 1, recorded approximately $10.47 billion in weekly decentralized exchange volume, nearly doubling the previous week's figures. The volume surge places the chain in the same tier as Solana and Ethereum for DEX activity.
Daily volumes throughout early September ranged from $1.5 billion to $3.7 billion, with the highest daily total reaching $3.7 billion on September 5. The seven-day rolling DEX volumes have fluctuated between $8.2 billion and the current $10.47 billion.
What's Driving Activity
Uniswap protocols, including versions 3 and 4, account for approximately 77 percent of all DEX volume on the chain. The remaining activity occurs across launchpad platforms and smaller trading venues.
Memecoins and tokenized equities, including trading pairs for NVDA and AAPL, represent a significant portion of trading activity. The trading flows are predominantly from crypto-native participants using trading terminals and active trading protocols rather than from Robinhood's retail brokerage user base.
Liquidity and Network Growth
Total value locked on Robinhood Chain climbed to approximately $757 million by late August and early September, representing close to a 100 percent increase from the prior month. Stablecoin supply on the chain has stabilized in the range of $770 million to $797 million.
Cumulative DEX volume on the chain had already surpassed $47 billion by mid-August.
