Daily trading volume on Robinhood Chain’s decentralized exchanges increased by 61% between August 28 and September 1, rising from $989 million to $1.595 billion, according to DeFiLlama data.
As of September 1, the Ethereum Layer 2 network held $738.11 million in decentralized finance total value locked and a stablecoin market capitalization of $796.74 million. DeFiLlama also recorded $353.96 million in daily perpetual futures volume and $2.524 billion in assets bridged to the network.
Robinhood Chain entered public testing in February 2026 and launched its Arbitrum-powered mainnet on July 1. The network supports round-the-clock trading of tokenized stocks that eligible users can lend or utilize as collateral. During the network's first week, it processed over 17 million transactions, attracted nearly 350,000 addresses, and generated more than $1 billion in cumulative DEX volume.
Later in July, DeFiLlama recorded approximately $433 million in 24-hour DEX volume, placing the network fifth among blockchains at the time, with a TVL of about $94 million and stablecoin balances exceeding $260 million. Comparing those July figures to current data, TVL has grown nearly eight times higher and stablecoin capitalization has roughly tripled, though the metrics may reflect differing reporting times and methodologies.
In an August interview with Decrypt’s FOMO Hour, Robinhood crypto chief Johann Kerbrat stated that the chain had processed more than 200 million transactions. He outlined the network's strategy as balancing conventional financial products alongside the speculative tokens favored by crypto traders, with meme coins driving much of the early activity.
