Robinhood Chain, a Layer-2 blockchain network that launched its mainnet on July 1, has generated 17,171 ETH—worth approximately $42.58 million—in its first 70 days of operation.
The network averages roughly $608,000 in daily revenue. On its strongest day, Robinhood Chain surpassed Ethereum itself in daily app revenue, reaching $2.66 million.
Revenue sources and performance
While Robinhood initially positioned its chain as a platform for tokenized stocks and real-world assets, memecoin activity has become the dominant revenue driver. Trading tools like GMGN and a launchpad called Pons have fueled this activity.
The chain has accumulated total value locked exceeding $1.5 billion, with decentralized exchange volume surpassing $50 billion. Over a 30-day period, the chain has generated revenue figures at times exceeding $50 million.
Fee distribution
Built on Arbitrum's Orbit stack, Robinhood Chain operates under a revenue-sharing model. Robinhood retains approximately 90% of fees generated, equating to roughly $38.32 million of the total. Arbitrum receives the remaining 10%, approximately $4.26 million.
Industry outlook
Investment research firm Bernstein has tracked the chain's performance, estimating cumulative fees at approximately $39 million. The firm projects this could scale to around $160 million annually by 2028. Bernstein has assigned an Outperform rating to Robinhood Markets stock with a $160 price target.
The public testnet launched on February 10, providing developers approximately five months to build before the mainnet opened.
