Robinhood Chain Surpasses Ethereum and Base in Daily Fee Revenue Two Months After Launch

Robinhood's blockchain, which launched on July 1, has rapidly emerged as a significant player in the crypto ecosystem. Just two months after its debut, the network is collecting more in daily transaction fees than both Ethereum and Base.

Over the past 24 hours, Robinhood Chain generated $495,477 in chain revenue—the fees the network retains from transactions. This exceeded Base's $71,703 and Ethereum's $25,746 over the same period. On a 30-day basis, Robinhood Chain pulled in $3.13 million in chain revenue, ranking third among all blockchains behind Canton at $49 million and Tron at $26 million, while Base generated $2.89 million and Ethereum $2.47 million.

App revenue, which measures earnings for protocols built on the network, tells a similar story. Robinhood Chain applications earned $1.84 million over 24 hours, second only to Solana at $5.03 million and surpassing Ethereum's $1.14 million, though Ethereum maintains a lead over 30 days with $45.84 million compared to Robinhood Chain's $21.05 million.

Network Growth and Token Launchpad Success

The network has experienced substantial growth in locked value and activity. Total value locked reached $727.15 million, representing a 7.4% increase in a single day. DEX volume hit $1.19 billion over 24 hours, with perpetual futures adding another $189.86 million. Real-world asset trading set records over four consecutive days, each clearing approximately $115 million, bringing onchain RWA market cap to $149.22 million.

Pons, Robinhood Chain's token launchpad, has been a primary driver of this growth. The platform generated a record $690,000 in revenue on Saturday and conducted roughly $208.82 million in 30-day DEX volume. Approximately 80% of Pons V1 revenue is directed toward buying back and burning the PONS token, linking revenue generation directly to token price movement. PONS traded at $0.3591 after a 46% single-day gain and a 499% weekly increase, carrying a $254.89 million market cap on $79.58 million in volume.

Broader Market Context

The growth on Robinhood Chain comes as crypto markets experienced modest declines. Bitcoin traded slightly up at $77,900, while Ethereum declined 1% to $2,450 and Solana fell 2% to $103.
