Robinhood Chain outearned several major cryptocurrency networks in daily chain-fee generation. On August 31, 2026, the network generated $1.07 million in daily gas fees, surpassing Solana, Base, and Ethereum on that specific metric. The chain launched its mainnet on July 1, 2026, following a public testnet phase that began on February 10, 2026.
The surge in fee generation was fueled by high levels of decentralized exchange activity. On August 30, the network processed 5.52 million daily transactions, while decentralized exchange volumes reached $1.49 billion. Within its first two months of operation, the chain's cumulative decentralized exchange trading volume surpassed $47 billion.
Memecoins Drive Activity
Speculative tokens and memecoins have served as a primary driver of the network's rapid ascent. Platforms such as Pons and GMGN have operated as launchpads for speculative tokens, with peak days recording more than 22,600 new memecoin launches—averaging roughly one new token every four seconds.
To bootstrap activity at launch, Robinhood implemented a 90-day gas subsidy program that paid users' transaction costs. Additionally, Uniswap integration has contributed liquidity to the ecosystem alongside the memecoin activity.
Network Economics and Metrics
Robinhood retains approximately 89% of the gross fees collected on the network. Approximately 10% goes to Arbitrum, as the chain is built as an Ethereum Layer-2 using Arbitrum's Orbit framework, while less than 1% flows to Ethereum for data availability. From the $1.07 million generated on August 31, roughly $950,000 went to Robinhood.
Broader metrics indicate additional network traction. Total value locked on the chain stands at approximately $735 million, stablecoin supply has grown to nearly $797 million, and bridged assets exceed $2.4 billion.
While the single-day fee figure outpaced networks like Solana, Base, and Ethereum at the end of August, a 30-day view indicates that Robinhood Chain continues to trail established fee leaders such as Canton and Tron over longer timeframes.
