Robinhood unveiled multiple new trading products at its summit in Houston on Tuesday, marking its largest product announcement in years and targeting active traders across crypto and traditional markets.
The broker will offer cryptocurrency perpetual futures on Bitcoin and Ether with up to 10x leverage, with other assets starting at 3x leverage. The contracts will be available to U.S. customers through Robinhood Derivatives and Bitstamp.
Weekend stock and ETF trading is now available through an alternative trading venue called Bruce ATS, extending 24-7 trading capabilities that previously stopped on weekends. This feature closes the gap between stock market hours and around-the-clock crypto trading.
Robinhood is introducing AI agents that can research markets and execute trades on behalf of users. Customers can select models from OpenAI or Anthropic and assign dedicated trading accounts to their agents. A feature called Loops allows users to set standing instructions for agents to act automatically when specified conditions are met. The company reported over 150,000 agent accounts already exist from an earlier opening of its systems to outside AI.
Additional announcements include earnings contracts through Cboe, where users can trade on whether companies hit specific financial targets such as revenue or earnings per share. The broker also launched a social trading app integrated into its main platform and extended options trading hours with more intraday margin.
Robinhood's product leadership described the vision as a unified account where users can trade stocks, crypto, and prediction markets seamlessly without considering which asset class they are working with.
In related news, Cboe and S&P Dow Jones extended their S&P 500 options deal through 2051 and indicated they may explore tokenized options contracts.
