Samson Mow Says Strategy and Bitcoin Treasury Companies Are 'Massively Undervalued'

JAN3 CEO Samson Mow believes that many Bitcoin treasury companies, particularly Strategy (MSTR), are “massively undervalued” at current levels. In a recent interview with Bitcoin Magazine, Mow explained that these companies function as Bitcoin’s buyer of last resort, purchasing the asset regardless of market conditions and thereby creating a self-reinforcing cycle that could push the price higher over time.

Treasury Companies as Buyer of Last Resort

Mow emphasized that treasury companies accumulate Bitcoin consistently, which provides a steady demand floor. This dynamic, he argued, supports a positive feedback loop: as these companies buy more Bitcoin, the price rises, which in turn increases the value of their holdings and allows them to raise more capital to buy additional Bitcoin.

Timing a Bitcoin Treasury or Bond Launch

According to Mow, the best time to launch a Bitcoin treasury company or a Bitcoin bond is when the price is low. He suggested that sovereigns exploring Bitcoin adoption are contributing to a global race for a finite asset, although nation-state adoption has slowed.

Additional Topics Covered

The interview also touched on several other subjects, including whether Bitcoin’s four-year cycle is dead, potential triggers for Bitcoin’s next major rally, why AI companies might adopt Bitcoin strategies, SpaceX IPO liquidity and competition with the AI trade, how Aqua Wallet users discover Bitcoin through stablecoins, agentic commerce (saving in Bitcoin and spending in stablecoins), and whether quantum computing poses a real threat to Bitcoin.
