Securitize announced the addition of 13 U.S. equities to its Solana‑based trading platform, raising the total number of tokenized stocks available to 25. The new tokens include ExxonMobil, Salesforce, GameStop, Disney, Arista Networks, Flex, Johnson & Johnson, Lockheed Martin, Lumentum, Merck, Seagate Technology, Texas Instruments and Uber.
Background
The firm launched its first 12 tokenized stocks on October 8, featuring Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia, Tesla, Amazon and SpaceX among others. The latest expansion brings the total to 25 tokenized equities.
Token structure and investor rights
Each token represents a single share of the underlying company and is classified as a security. Holders are entitled to economic benefits such as dividends and, where applicable, voting rights. The tokens are not a substitute for direct registration on a company’s shareholder list, but can be converted to registered shares if the issuer later adopts a tokenization scheme.
Access and compliance
Eligible investors in the United States, the European Union and other permitted jurisdictions can trade the tokens, subject to local securities regulations and verification requirements. In the U.S., trading is conducted through Securitize Markets, an SEC‑registered broker‑dealer and FINRA member. European investors use Securitize’s regional brokerage under applicable agreements.
Trading mechanics
All 25 tokenized equities trade on the Solana blockchain, with settlements in the USDC stablecoin. Jump Trading provides liquidity, and trading currently extends beyond regular U.S. market hours. Securitize plans to enable round‑the‑clock trading and aims to integrate its products with a proposed NYSE digital venue, though no launch dates have been set.
Future outlook
The expansion aligns with Securitize’s goal of placing U.S. shares on‑chain while preserving investor rights and securities protections. The firm also designed the offering to support the planned OKXICE tokenized securities venue, pending regulatory and operational approvals.
