Real-world asset (RWA) tokenization is expanding rapidly, with total value exceeding $39 billion, and Sei Network is emerging as one of the fastest-growing chains in the sector. According to RWA.xyz data, the number of RWA holders on Sei grew by around 24% over the past month to 2,535, reflecting increased participation as asset managers move traditional finance products on-chain.
Growth in holders, volume, and value
Alongside the rise in holders, distributed value on Sei reached $291 million, while RWA transfer volume surged 155% to $18 million. Bridged total value locked (TVL) also climbed to $361 million, a level last seen in July. Sei noted that with markets trading on-chain 24/7, the network is built for such a future, and firms have started to appreciate its capabilities.
SEI price remains bearish
Despite the growth in tokenization activity, SEI's price has not reflected it. The altcoin remains in a bearish structure, trading within a descending channel. Over the past day, SEI dropped from $0.063, lost the $0.06 support, and fell to a low of $0.057. The MACD has moved further into negative territory, reinforcing the bearish outlook.
If the downtrend persists and SEI breaks below the lower trendline, it could fall to $0.052. However, if tokenization inspires another wave of demand, a breakout above the upper trendline could see SEI close above $0.063 and push for a breakout above $0.077.
