SimpleSwap's fixed-rate exchange service has completed one year of operation within the Exodus wallet, delivering five new features to its partner network without requiring any changes to existing integrations.
Key Updates Shipped Over the Year
All five updates were delivered through the SimpleSwap API without necessitating partner-side releases or migrations. The integration deployed in August 2025 remains unchanged, with enhancements applied at the infrastructure level.
Automatic Refunds for Screened Exchanges
When exchanges are paused for compliance reviews and cannot proceed, funds are automatically returned to a refund address without requiring support tickets. Most refunds complete within 5 to 15 minutes, though busy network conditions can extend this to 30 minutes. A standard network fee is deducted from returned amounts with no additional service charge applied.
Flexible Fee Controls
Partners can now set fee percentages per API key and per trading pair rather than applying a single account-wide rate. This allows wallets to issue separate keys for different products or traffic sources, each with its own margin structure. Custom fees can also be set at the transaction level, enabling promotional rates for specific user segments without changing account settings.
Reverse Price Estimates
The service now provides inverse pricing queries, answering how much of an asset a customer must send to receive a specific amount of another asset. This capability serves payment providers quoting goods and services in stable equivalents while accepting customer-held assets.
Expanded Asset Coverage
More than 300 assets were added over the year, reaching partner applications through existing currency calls. The aggregation layer now draws from 20+ liquidity providers across centralized and decentralized exchanges, enabling rapid asset additions without waiting for single-venue support.

SimpleSwap operates an aggregation of 2,800+ swappable assets across 3.2 million trading pairs. The service supports 6,000+ partner products including Exodus, Tangem, Ellipal, Cake Wallet, and Tonkeeper.
