SimpleSwap has marked one year of running fixed-rate exchanges inside the Exodus wallet. Over the past twelve months, the platform introduced five new capabilities to its partner infrastructure without requiring Exodus or other partners to modify their initial integrations.
Among the updates is an automatic refund system for exchanges paused during compliance screening. If an exchange cannot proceed following a review, funds are automatically returned to the designated refund address within 5 to 15 minutes, or up to 30 minutes during periods of high network congestion, without requiring a support ticket.
Additional updates include granular fee settings that allow partner accounts to configure fee percentages per individual API key and per specific trading pair rather than globally. Partners can also set profit shares directly during exchange creation using a custom_fee parameter. Furthermore, a new reverse estimate feature allows platforms to calculate the exact amount a customer needs to send to receive a precise target amount, supporting invoice generation in stable equivalents.
SimpleSwap also added more than 300 assets over the year, bringing its total to over 2,800 available assets and 3.2 million trading pairs. These additions do not require partner-side updates, as they are handled via the platform's aggregation layer, which currently draws from more than 20 centralized and decentralized exchange liquidity providers.
Since its launch in 2018, SimpleSwap infrastructure has been integrated into over 6,000 partner products—including Exodus, Tangem, Ellipal, Cake Wallet, and Tonkeeper—processing more than 20 million swaps for over 10 million users.
